Explanation writing about Kindness

The purpose of kindness is to show respect towards others no matter how old they are or who they are.
Kindness is a symbol of love, respect and many more. It also means to be kind to one another even if you love them or not.

I show kindness by following the footsteps of Jesus and doing what he does to others. I show kindness by Loving my friends but mostly my family, I also treat them with respect everywhere I go with them and inside our home. I also show kindness to my learning and my work. I also show kindness to the teachers who have prepared work for me and to give me a good education.

Kindness is also a virtue that the Holy Spirit has used everywhere it goes. To me kindness means being fair to others and treating them how they want to be treated. Without Kindness in me I would not know how to love others and respect them.

Explanation writing prompts

Imagine you were a wonderful painter and your parents let you paint anything you wanted on your bedroom walls. What would you paint.? use lots of details to describe your artwork.

  • On one wall I would paint my family characters and beside them would be their talents.
  • On the second wall I would paint a tree and grass everywhere with my family holding hands around that tree.
  • On my third wall I would paint my family symbols and everything we love to do.

Procedural Writing about Room 7's Assembly

In Term 1 we have been learning about Procedural Writing. First we had to read the Procedural Writing on  how to weave an "Island mat". It was a simple thing to do while reading the instructions. We also called it our kindness mat, after we had finished creating it we decorated it with colours. I have written Respect, Caring and Loving.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Dear Holy Spirit.  You are the one who makes me see everything and who makes me reach for my dreams. You give me the gift to remember everything and to forget. Thank you for the brave apostles. I also thank you for giving my love and dignity. Thank you for guiding the sick and poor all around the world. One day I hope I show someone the virtues you have showed me. Thank you for helping me believe in God and showing me what he does to love one another.
